Advers Outcome – IOL – 2017
This document is a research study comparing the outcomes of elective induction of labor (IOL) at term versus spontaneous onset of labor (SOL). The study examines the maternal and perinatal outcomes of 75 mothers who underwent IOL compared to a control group of 75 mothers who had SOL. The results show that mothers who underwent elective IOL had a higher rate of cesarean section and prolonged hospital stay compared to those with SOL. However, there were no significant differences in adverse perinatal and maternal outcomes between the two groups.
